We are delighted to welcome you to a new and eventful year at Kaare Berntsen.
2013 will be an exciting year. Not only will the grand celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Edvard Munch’s birth have an impact on the fine art market, but the general level of market activity in the past six months suggests that the Norwegian art and antiques market is well on the way to catching up with growth levels internationally.
You are most welcome to contact us concerning any artist whose works you are interested in buying or selling. We have a high level of activity and many selling exhibitions, and we are always on the lookout for new objects to place for sale. Our strongest position is in the private art market, where private purchases and sales may if required be transacted in the strictest confidence and with the utmost discretion.
We work actively on sales commissions every single day, and much of what we do goes on outside of our normal selling exhibitions. It is therefore important for us to keep in constant contact with our clients, and we expect high demands to be made of us at all times.
On the antiques side, we have decided to sharpen our focus on the best and most valuable objects from our cultural heritage. Both for collectors and other clients who are keen to acquire very particular objects, we promise to do our best to satisfy every desire and requirement. Simply contact us, and we will be happy to be at your service.
We are seeking fine art and antiques for our selling exhibitions in spring 2013.

Driving directions to Kaare Berntsen
There is a road-block at the end of Munkedamsveien so that the access to our gallery will be cut off from the east side. The bridge from Parkveien is now open for traffic and it is easier to arrive from Oslo West. Access to us will therefore be via Solli plass through Observatoriegata and Parkveien.
